Dr. Bryan Gelman

Owner/Veterinarian

About Dr. Gelman

Bryan Gelman was born and raised outside New York City. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Following graduation, he completed a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. For the next five years, he lived in Manhattan and worked as an emergency doctor at the Animal Medical Center, where he oversaw one of the busiest emergency rooms in the country. After meeting his wife, a native Torontonian, in New York City, they moved back to Toronto in the summer of 2014. Bryan started working as a staff doctor at a general practice located in North York but soon realized he had his own vision for practicing veterinary medicine. In May 2019, he opened Yonge & St Clair Veterinary Hospital in pursuit of this vision.

Bryan lives in mid-town Toronto with his wife, two sons (Carter and Ashton), daughter (Juliette), and their very energetic Labradoodle, Gus. Bryan is an avid reader of history and astronomy, and when not chasing after his children and dog, he loves playing and watching all things sports.

Dr. Tiffany Mason

Veterinarian

About Dr. Mason
Tiffany Mason grew up in the city of Toronto and now lives on the Danforth with her husband, teen daughter, tween son, and their dog, a peppy Miniature Schnauzer named Apollo. Sadly, she lives in a cat-free home because of family allergies, so she loves when she gets to meet cats at work!

After high school, Tiffany received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Queen’s University, and then worked on Bay Street in the marketing department of a mutual fund company. After a few exciting years downtown, she knew her true calling was to work in animal healthcare, so she went back to university where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College. Becoming a veterinarian has fulfilled her childhood dream and makes “going to work” every day a true pleasure. Her veterinary interests include oral health care, geriatrics and feline medicine. When not working with the animals, Tiffany enjoys checking out live music, road tripping, reading, puzzles and hanging out with her family and friends.

Having worked at several small animal clinics around Toronto over the past 15 years, Tiffany is thrilled to be joining the amazing team at the Yonge and St. Clair Veterinary Hospital and is looking forward to meeting many new pets and their people!
