Owner/Veterinarian
Bryan Gelman was born and raised outside New York City. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Tiffany Mason grew up in the city of Toronto and now lives on the Danforth with her husband, teen daughter, tween son, and their dog, a peppy Miniature Schnauzer named Apollo. Sadly, she lives in a cat-free home because of family allergies, so she loves when she gets to meet cats at work!
Veterinarian
Dr. Jaclyn Posluns earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special passion for dentistry, preventative care, and supporting senior pets so they can thrive in their golden years. Jaclyn loves building long-term relationships with pets and their families and feels grateful to be part of such a caring, collaborative veterinary team.
Veterinarian
Lindsay Lane grew up in Kitchener and has had a passion for animals since she was just a little girl. She attended her undergrad at the University of Toronto and received her BCS with honours. Following U of T, she attended the University of Guelph, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She has been practicing in Toronto ever since. She has a special interest in surgery and preventive medicine. She also works part-time at the Toronto Humane Society.
Veterinarian
Hollie Monk graduated from the Royal Veterinary College based in London in 2011. For the next 5 years, she worked in the UK at several top hospitals and clinics, providing both routine and emergency care. In 2015, she relocated to Singapore where she spent 2 years at a busy general practice which included a large caseload of rabbits and small furries.
RVT/Hospital Manager
Stephanie joined our team in May 2020 as an experienced RVT. She attended Seneca College where she completed the veterinary technician program in 2011. Since graduation, she has worked in multiple small animal clinics and emergency hospitals over her career and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our hospital. Stephanie has a special interest in pet nutrition and has had a passion for animals since she was very young. She currently has a chihuahua named Melba who she adopted a few years ago. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and spending time outdoors at her cottage, and is very excited to get to know all the wonderful pets here at YSC.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Ever since Sabrina was young, she knew she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. In high school, she completed co-op programs working as an assistant in vet clinics, which furthered her passion to help animals. She graduated from the veterinary technician program at Seneca College in 2019. After graduation, she worked in an emergency clinic for 4 years, where she was able to gain a lot of hands-on experience. She is now looking forward to building long-term relationships with the pets at YSC.
Veterinary Technician
Patricia Costa joined our team in July 2021. She is originally from Brazil, where she attended the Metodista University of São Paulo and earned her bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine in 2013, making her childhood dream come true. After many years working as a vet in Brazil, she decided to move to Toronto, to fulfill her dream of living abroad. In March 2020, she landed for the first time in Canada and fell in love with the city of Toronto.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Sammi grew up in Toronto with a house full of pets—dogs, cats, a lizard, fish, frogs, and even snails—which sparked her lifelong love for animals. She completed a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Biology at the University of Western Ontario and recently completed the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College. She will be officially graduating in summer of 2025 and is excited to start her career as a veterinary technician at Yonge & St Clair Veterinary Hospital.
Veterinary Assistant
Rigel was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He attended the University of Ottawa, where he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Biochemistry. Never having pets growing up due to family allergies, once Rigel moved out, he adopted a senior cat, named Cashew, in need of a forever home. He has also now adopted a senior Guinea Pig, named Werthers. Rigel began his career working with animals when he moved to Toronto with his wife and has been working in the veterinary industry ever since. Rigel joined the Yonge & St. Clair team in May 2022.
Veterinary Assistant
Laura joined the Yonge and St. Clair Veterinary team as a veterinary assistant in the spring of 2024. She fell in love with animals at a young age, and could always be found searching for and playing with farm kittens. She grew up in a rural town where she was exposed to many different varieties of animals, ranging from very large Holstein cows to extra small pet hamsters.
Veterinary Assistant
Sarafina joined the Yonge and St. Clair team as a veterinary assistant in September 2024. She previously worked in a busy ICU at an emergency clinic. She grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, and has always loved being around animals despite being allergic to them! She believes that people in the animal care industry are voices for animals that can’t speak for themselves. One day soon she plans on getting a Scottish Terrier. In her spare time she loves binge watching Marvel movies with her fiancé, listening to music, and talking about anything Spiderman.
Client Care Representative
Joanne developed a love for furry four legged companions at a young age and started her first job at a local animal shelter when she was sixteen years old. Rescuing, fostering and finding forever homes for animals is more than just a job but a calling for Joanne, as she has developed a knack for placing pets in their perfect environment.
Lead Client Care Representative
Tamara grew up in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, which is where her interest and love for animals first developed. She started in veterinary medicine when she moved to Vancouver in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. She is passionate about senior pet education and care and is the proud mom of three cats. Tamara joined the YSC team in the winter of 2021 and has found her forever home. She looks forward to getting to know all our friendly patients and amazing clients.
Client Care Representative
Liz grew up in a small town just west of London, Ontario. When she was 8 years old, she moved to Toronto and shortly thereafter she realized that she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She started in a grooming facility, which eventually led her to work in her first vet clinic as a veterinary assistant/receptionist, where she has been ever since.

Roxy has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember, often bringing home stray cats and dogs throughout her life.
